Spring time in Nature

Its Spring and the birds everywhere are looking for nest sites to mate and raise thier young.
Its difficult to know where you want to be and what to capture images of, when such abundance presents itself all at the same time.
As I have very few images of Ospreys this was a target species for me.
Going to a local metro park where they nest each year i sat down to wait for the action to take place and to observe thier routines.
After some time I grabbed a few images and decided to return when the chicks are born as then they will be catching fish and be more active.
Here are a couple of those images taken with a 200-500mm zoom lens on a tripod with a gimbal head.
